Are you ready to take ownership of operational inventory and play a vital role in event success? Race Coast KZN is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Stock Controller to join our Event Operations Department. This full-time role reports to the Events Operations Manager and is essential for ensuring that all event equipment and supplies are managed efficiently and are always event ready.
The Stock Controller will be responsible for managing and controlling all operational inventory—including furniture, equipment, linen, cutlery, crockery, and décor—ensuring accurate records, maintenance, and readiness for all events. This role involves conducting regular stock takes, reconciling variances, coordinating requisitions, and verifying deliveries.
The ideal incumbent will be highly organised, computer literate, and physically capable, with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills to ensure effective collaboration with team members and suppliers.

Minimun Requirements

What You’ll Need
Diploma in Supply Chain, Inventory, or Hospitality Operations.
3+ years’ experience in stock control or logistics within events or hospitality.
Experience with POS (Point-of-Sale) systems will be advantageous.
Strong proficiency in Excel and inventory management systems.
Excellent organisational and record-keeping skills.
Physically capable of handling event equipment safely.
