Job Description

As a Branch Administrator, you play a vital part in keeping our laboratory and Care Centre running smoothly. You ensure that everyday administrative activities are completed accurately, on time, and with care—supporting specimen processing, quality service delivery, and seamless operations. Your work helps create a High Performance Culture by enabling dependable, efficient processes, and it sets the tone for Employee Engagement by ensuring every patient and colleague interaction feels considered, professional, and people‑centred. Through dependable support and clear ownership, you also help empower leaders to focus on clinical excellence, reinforcing Leadership Empowerment and Accountability across the branch.

Minimun Requirements

    Grade 12 (Matric) is essential. This foundation enables you to handle sensitive information responsibly, follow established procedures confidently, and contribute to a consistently high standard of service. Experience of 0–4 years in administration is suitable for this role. Meditech experience will be preferable. Exposure to a pathology or medical environment would be advantageous, yet what matters most is a strong eye for detail, well‑developed organisational skills, and a calm, professional manner. You are comfortable taking ownership of tasks, asking for support when needed, and working in line with quality standards. The Base for this role will be Cedar, additional site requirements will be Millpark, Donald Gordon, Garden City and Rosebank, you will also be required to work over weekends
